I have had the incredible opportunity to work at the International Institute of Minnesota, and for the Newest Americans in Minnesota for the past eighteen months. The Institute provides Nursing Assistant training, English Language classes, Immigration and Resettlement services, College Readiness Classes and we provide essential social service assistance to those seeking asylum, refugees and New Americans.

Many refugees and immigrants are unable to access unemployment insurance and federal benefits but their rent continues to be due. Will you help us ensure the Institute’s clients have safe housing during the COVID-19 pandemic?
